The scorched seas, the blackened skies, Into the unknown where we fly We sacrifice all comfort for dread Leave behind 10 billion dead The nebulae, decaying moon, This space ship will be our tomb The crushing black with all horrors in store Shall be our home forevermore Time marches on, this planet has died We are the remnants of mankind The void is calling for our suffering The gods bear witness to our conquering Dials are spinning, solar sails away We scavenge the stars to keep death at bay Divine wisdom bestowed by our past Survival no option, this fight's not our last Ground shakes and skies torn asunder Per aspera Gravity no more can hold us under Ad tenebras We rise upon the dragon's breath Per aspera To an embrace as dark and sweet as death Ad tenebras And may our souls Live on forevermore Searching the stars beyond The halls of the dead Sing of our quest for more Growing in number each day And when our time Come to a gruesome end Writ in the stars the name Mors navis To now forget the fetid days of yore Per aspera To keep our gaze forever to the fore Ad tenebras Every age of man will know our likeness Per aspera Through suffering unto darkness Ad tenebras

Twas deep beneath thoughts true clutch Deep in the frozen sleep Twas there i felt a loves keen touch And gave my heart to keep Atop green hill, felt fall wind blow Her long hair gently wave Her face without the lines i'd know While she knelt by my grave A touch, a dance, a child, a chance At life full, free from woe The crime, the facts, the trial, the axe That swung my final blow Twas then i saw her kneeling there My spirit floating free But naught could touch her skin, her hair And yet she looked at me What power is this, past death's cold kiss Would let your gaze remain Her smile had changed, deformed, deranged She snarled "You will know pain" How is it you’re standing in this room? The last i saw you was inside your tomb This isn’t making any sense, what is this fear, you’ve brought my dear, I’ve paid all of my dues I’ve mourned the days that we have both lost Crushed enemies at any sort of cost I am but a lonely man, your death was not part of the plan My love what do you want? I hear your delicious cries I hear your fetid plea But nothing makes my blood rise Like the taste of your agony I’ll tear your mind in two I’ll rip your flesh from bone But baby if i was you I’d get used to my brand new home No! Haven’t i been suffering enough? The memories come flooding month to month This is the cross that i must bare, this punishment is not fair Begone you succubus Oh wicked fate just please give me a chance To live through eternal penance This longing that i have within, to atone for all my sins My love grant me this dance But what happened to the years We lived with the promises Of never ending love And remember all the tears And laughter and romance We shared in our love? Did you think you could get away?? See your life in your mind’s eye? Oh darling you’re here to stay And i think we all know why Let’s burn your feet some more Let’s crack your bones in half Let’s turn your guts to gore That should be good for a laugh! Ha ha haaa!

Through waking cloudy sight A ship prepared to fight A towering vessel stands before This flashing in my eyes Computers come online Prepare the weapons now for war The fates are on our side To battle now we ride Not again… Listen you living trash heap... I’ve told you once before now Just leave me alone I don’t want to be one of you I still prefer my flesh and bone Don’t make me angry We don’t need to go to blows You just go your creepy way And I’ll just take my haul and go Do not resist our power We cannot hear your screams We’ll take your flesh And make you strong beyond your wildest dreams Lower your shields and weapons Our tractor beams deployed We’ll make you one of us And all your greatest strengths employ We offer life eternal We offer ego death Our empire ever grows Organic life takes dying breath But if you choose resistance If you refuse our prize Our ship will be the last Beheld within your dying eyes Power we do not fear Now where we stand is clear This ship will never be enslaved We seek a heroes death We’ll fight to dying breath This sea of stars will be your grave The fates are on our side To battle now we ride Well don’t that beat it all now? Some heroes riding hard! You take your stinking metal mess And go play in your own junkyard Well I owe you strangers My gratitude you’ve earned! Let’s head on down to planetside And party like tomorrow burns!
